The Zero Zone Edge™ Distributed System was designed to accommodate the use of higher horsepower compressors (up to 13 HP for scrolls, 9 HP for reciprocating compressors). This allows a single Edge™ unit to provide refrigeration for a larger number of display cases, reducing the time and expense associated with installation and maintenance. Flexible by design, the Edge™ Distributed System can also be configured with fewer, larger compressors to conserve space in cramped environments. Zero Zone offers a wider range of compressors, including scrolls, vapor injected scrolls, modulating scrolls, and reciprocating semi-hermetics, which are spec’d to meet each customer’s unique needs.

The maintenance-friendly enclosure incorporates lift-assist, hinged tops and easily removable front panels for unequalled accessibility. The roomier enclosure on the Edge™ allows for factory installation of options that, traditionally, have to be field-installed outside of the enclosure; the Edge™ cabinet design simplifies site installation, controlling cost and safeguarding against leaks that might result from improper field installation. Factory installed options give customers the peace of mind that all components are properly integrated into the system and are ready to operate at startup.

Traditionally, other manufacturers have shipped receivers, liquid driers and suction filters separately, requiring installation on site. The Zero Zone Edge™ Distributed System is the only system of its kind that provides pre-piping of these components at the factory.
