What Will You Do?
Under the direction of the FST Supervisor, the FST Development Supervisor works alongside the FST Coordinator to plan and execute field support for Zero Zone, Inc. The FST Supervisor duties include oversight and HR duties pertaining to the daily operations of the FSTs in their assigned region. This role will primarily focus on training of new FSTs as well as continued development of the existing team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervision of FST apprentices as they come aboard. To include scheduling of continuing training opportunities, regular assessments to support continued growth and time spent in the field with the techs to assist them in their progress.
- Play a lead role in the continued education of the existing FST team.
- Responsible for oversight & reporting of FST performance, including the approval of expense reports and conducting FST reviews
- Minimum of 50% of time in the field conducting inspections, and other technical tasks (to include working on site with each assigned FST twice a year, at minimum)
- Conduction of administrative duties, such as arranging and scheduling meetings, assisting with documentation, hiring, training employees and FST scheduling
- Performing other duties assigned by FST Management in an orderly and efficient manner
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS FOR EFFECTIVE PERFORMANCE:
- A technical degree or certification in related field and 3-5 years of related experience in service and repair in the refrigeration industry
- Experience with industrial refrigeration applications and installation of refrigerated cases, methods and techniques are a plus
- Travel required

PHYSICAL & BEHAVIORAL:
- Regularly required to stand or walk; talk or hear; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and lift and/or move up to 70 pounds usually from the floor to waist level, up to 20 feet away.
- Frequently is required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds, usually from the floor to waist level, up to 20 feet away.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Requires the use of safety glasses and steel-toed safety shoes.
