What Will You Do?

Under the direction of the Configurator Manager, the Customer Systems Administrator plays an important role in maintaining and optimizing our customer-facing systems, data, and processes. This position requires a proactive and detail-oriented mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and an ability to collaborate cross-functionally with other departments. The primary responsibilities of this role include Change Management, supporting configurator and PMO team members, facilitating documentation creation/maintenance, and administration of records and repots within the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. This position has potential for remote work at the discretion of management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Execute Change Management and data-driven processes in accordance with established procedures.
  • Support senior department members by participating on cross-functional teams and with training initiatives.
  • Collaborate with senior department members and management to develop and deliver documentation and training materials for necessary Configurator and ERP workflows.
  • Conduct administrative duties to assist with departmental tasks, projects, and processes.
  • Set up, monitor, and maintain part records of various types within the ERP system.
  • Monitor and report on key metrics related to internal data to ensure compliance and data integrity.
  • Provide basic technical support and understanding of the Product Configuration functions, particularly when it comes to Customer set-up, Sales Quotation, and Customer Order processes in the system.

REQUIREMENTS FOR EFFECTIVE PERFORMANCE:

  • Associate’s degree, and/or 2+ years of experience working with ERP software.
  • Working proficiency in the standards Microsoft Office 365 Software Suite (particularly in excel).
  • Certification or experience with Lean Six Sigma in a project setting.
  • Experience with IFS applications including IFS 10, IFS Aurena, and/or IFS Cloud.
  • Precise attention to detail, consistency, and quality of work.
  • Willing to learn and adapt new or existing skills.

SKILLS/ABILITIES/SPECIFICATIONS

  • Ability to effectively communicate one-on-one, in group settings, and cross-functionally.
  • Ability to effectively time-manage balancing multiple tasks/responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, reports, and workflows.
