What Will You Do?

Under the direction of the Senior Product Configuration Administrator, the Product Configuration Administrator collaborate cross-functionally while maintaining product configuration logic within the ERP and/or CPQ environments. The Product Configuration Administrator plays an important role in Zero Zone’s ERP Product Configurator design and maintenance, operational capabilities, as well as our customer-facing systems and processes. This role requires a blend of a technical aptitude, time management, organizational skills, and a strong attention to detail. The primary responsibilities of this role include: maintaining the rules and logic for Product Configuration, taking ownership of ERP or Configurator related tasks/projects, and working cross-functionally to investigate and resolve ERP or Configurator issues.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Demonstrate the ability to think logically when creating and maintaining Configurator rules.
  • Develop a detailed understanding of the product and product specifications to assist with maintaining new or existing product configurations.
  • Support and troubleshoot problems related to the Configurator and ERP software.
  • Assist with the upgrade and implementation of future ERP integrations and CPQ software.
  • Interpret and maintain SQL reports inside the system and understand basic database schema.
  • Utilize applications such as Excel to analyze data for organizational and reporting purposes.
  • Assist with and facilitate discussion related to the CR/CO (Change) process, NSO (Non-standard Orders) process, and CI (Continuous Improvement) initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS FOR EFFECTIVE PERFORMANCE:

  • Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience working with ERP software, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong computer aptitude.

SKILLS/ABILITIES/SPECIFICATIONS

  • Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Willingness and desire to learn or adapt new and existing skills.
  • Ability to think and reason through problems which may not always have clear solutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Products such as Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation such as CAD drawings is a plus.
  • Experience working with IFS ERP Applications or similar Enterprise software is a plus.
  • Experience working with Product Configurators and/or Relational Databases is a plus.
  • Previous experience with parametric or options-based systems is a plus.
  • Certification or experience with Lean Six Sigma is a plus.
