Zero Zone Hybrid™ Merchandiser: Space Saving and Convenient

The Hybrid™ merchandiser provides the flexibility of a self-contained display case while maintaining the durability and sales capability of those in large supermarkets. Each Hybrid™ merchandiser inherits the traits of its remote counterpart and has all the necessary refrigeration components mounted on top of the display case. These cases require minimal effort to install. After connecting the remote condensing unit to the display case, they are ready to be energized for operation. With medium- and low-temperature options, you can display beverage, bakery, dairy, deli, floral, frozen food, meat, produce, or seafood products in an environment that will keep them fresh.

Zero Zone Hybrid™ merchandisers provide benefits for a store of any size. They allow small format stores to effectively and efficiently use their floorspace for merchandising products rather than taking up valuable real estate for the refrigeration system. Large format retailers can add a Hybrid™ merchandiser to the sales floor without increasing the installed system’s load or the need for additional refrigeration piping.

The Hybrid™ Merchandiser offers the same features as Zero Zone remote display cases, with more freedom to choose their location. You can join Zero Zone Hybrid™ merchandisers into a continuous lineup. Both medium- and low-temperature display cases are able to be joined with an insulated divider. Reveal® Hybrid™ Merchandiser

The Reveal® Hybrid™ merchandiser is an open-deck display case that is ready for dairy, produce, and beverages. The bright 4000K lighting gives it a crisp and clean look. The enormous packout can fit rows of 30-pack beverage cases. Available on ORMC82M and ORMC83D

Highlight® Hybrid™ Merchandiser

Available in 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5-door cases, the Highlight® Hybrid™ merchandiser is just as much a workhorse as its remote counterpart. It uses the Zero Zone Coolview® Envision® Doors, available as 30 inches wide by 68 inches tall. The Highlight Hybrid™ medium-temperature display cases also have doors that are 24 inches wide by 68 inches tall. These display cases can be ordered for low- and medium-temperature applications.

Crystal® Hybrid™ Merchandiser

These low- and medium-temperature display cases are available with 2, 3, 4, and 6 doors. The Coolview® Illustion™ doors, offered in 24 or 30 inches wide by 74 inches tall, stretch to narrow dividers, providing a full view of your product. These cases can be set for low- and medium-temperature.

The Convenience of a Hybrid™ Merchandiser

The controllers on Zero Zone Hybrid™ merchandisers have network connectivity for monitoring the display case’s performance. The capability of the controllers to be set to a large range of temperatures allows multiple applications for a single display case. Prepare your Hybrid™ merchandiser to hold flowers during the spring months, then switch it to a beverage display to sell refreshments during the summer.

The Hybrid™ Merchandisers are also offered in single-door models. Using the single-door model is an excellent way to showcase grab-and-go products or place bottled beverages next to fountain drinks. Expand your product diversity by placing one as an endcap in one of your aisles. Place commonly forgotten products like milk and eggs near the front of your large-format retail store to provide convenience for customers who might have forgotten to grab them in the dairy department.

AIM Act: Hybrids™ are Available for Installation After Self-Contained

Hybrid™ merchandisers are considered a remote display case with a remote condensing unit. This means the Hybrid™ merchandiser line of display cases will be available for installation until January 1, 2026, one year later than self-contained units.

The AIM Act allows for an existing system to continue its operation to the end of its useful life. This includes repairing and replacing components. You can expect service and support for the Hybrid™ merchandisers after production has ceased.
