Zero Zone Systems Division Unveils Ramsey Location Remodel
RAMSEY, Minnesota – Zero Zone, Inc. is proud to announce the completion of a major expansion and renovation of its Minnesota facility, home to the Zero Zone Systems Division. Since the acquisition of Systematic Refrigeration in 2002, The Systems Division has seen exceptional growth resulting in an increasing need for capacity as well as additional office, testing, and training facilities.
The newly completed project adds 57,000 square feet to the facility. The production facility increased by 40,000 square feet including the addition of two production lines, double the loading capacity, and a dedicated pressure-testing area. Simultaneously, the entire production facility was reorganized to maximize material flow. These changes will allow Zero Zone to produce more refrigeration racks than ever before.
In addition to capacity increases, the facility now features a cutting-edge laboratory space for product development, testing, and training; an upgraded Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) area for verifying equipment; a 120-seat training center; multiple new conference rooms; and expanded office space to support increased staffing needs.
The expansion proves Zero Zone’s continuing commitment to its customers’ growth by growing alongside them. With significantly increased production capacity and operational capabilities, the Systems Division is better positioned to meet rising demand while continuing to deliver the high-quality refrigeration solutions customers have come to expect. As the Zero Zone’s CEO, Glenn Kormanik, said in his speech at the Ramsey facility’s open house: “Perhaps the most exciting part of today isn’t simply what we have completed. It’s what this facility allows us to do next.”
